Things to pack to Sydney

Acquaint yourself with Australian seasons. Spring starts in September, summer in December, fall in March and winter in June. Prepare for long, hot and humid summers. Take shorts, short-sleeved shirts, skirts and sundresses in cotton and linen, as these fabrics will breathe in the heat. A hat, sunglasses and sunblock will protect you from the sun's intense rays. Bring plenty of layers when visiting during the winter months. Winters in Sydney are mild, but can get cold. Lightweight wool, fleece and flannel garments will keep you warm and comfortable. Pack sandals and a pair of walking shoes. Bring an umbrella if you intend to visit between October and April, as these are the city's wettest months.
